Ms. Mary Wishert

My name is Mary Wishert and I am the school counselor at Ouabache Elementary School. I attended Ivy Tech Community College and earned my Associates degree focusing on Elementary Education in May 2017, and I attended Indiana State University and earned my Bachelor’s of Science degree focusing on Elementary Education in December 2019. I later got my Master’s of Education degree focusing on School Counseling in May 2022. I am originally from North Salem, Indiana. I am 28 years old, married to my husband – Garth Wishert – We do have three beautiful cats. This is my third year as a licensed school counselor, and I am excited to continue my professional counseling career so that I can help support students and their parents during the educational journey!

Mrs. Tracy Hines

Hello! My name is Tracy Hines.  I became the Dean at Ouabache Elementary in 2020. I have been teaching for 30 years, with 28 of those years at Ouabache. I enjoy being in the education field very much and love helping my students become successful. I attended Indiana State University and Olivet Nazarene University, and have a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.  I am married to Officer Bob Hines. Bob and I have four sons and one daughter. We have nine beautiful grandchildren. We love to travel! We also enjoy riding motorcycles with our friends, and spending time with our family.
